In this role, you will manage a team responsible for Windows administration, VMWare, Mobile Device Management, and server & workstation provisioning and maintenance at Vectorworks. You will provide onsite support as necessary in an onsite/hybrid capacity at our headquarters in Columbia, MD. Vectorworks has offices in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan and is part of the global software group Nemetschek SE. As such you will be working with global teams to accomplish high level company goals.

Our systems development team plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Microsoft infrastructure across multiple brands within Nemetschek, with a focus on collaboration, automation, and global cooperation to achieve significant impact at scale.

During this role you will:

• Oversee a team of 3 within MIS at Vectorworks.
• Collaborate with 20 team members on the Vectorworks Systems Development team.
• Manage O365 environment including Office, Outlook, SharePoint.
• Oversee Intune policy, configuration, and deployment.
• Modernize Microsoft & file server-based workflows.
• Collaborate on projects with global colleagues within Nemetschek.
• Create and edit documentation of department policies and procedures.

Here is what success looks like:

• 10+ years of experience in on premise active directory, Windows file services, Azure AD, Microsoft office administration, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven Microsoft background and skillset.
• Experience with Hybrid Active Directory / Azure AD.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated with motivation for continuous improvement.
• Ability to take direction as required.
• Focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft security.
• Experience with VMware, ESXi, vCenter.
