Overview

Are you able to translate industry specific concepts to cross functional teams? We are seeking a strategic thinker that can focus on the big picture and steer a team to execute the details.

 

You will be part of an international team of Product Specialists connecting with customers around the globe to advance the knowledge, usage, and impact of the Vectorworks Entertainment Product suite. 

 

 

Responsibilities

The manager heads a team of specialists to communicate our value proposition to designers in the entertainment industry. The team gathers market intelligence, produces and executes marketing plans with the marketing team, creates sales enablement tools, and develops product roadmap input with feature requirements. This involves listening to users, developing learning content, executing specific product positioning, and messaging, and hosting speaking engagements. The team also provides industry knowledge to our sales, engineering, and customer success teams.

 

 

Here is what success looks like:

 

  • Bringing a wide range of industry specific experiences and project knowledge to the team including but not limited to Lighting Design, Set Design, Theater Design, and Entertainment Design.
  • Having proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling, and previsualization software packages and a willingness to do the same with Vectorworks products.
  • Proven project management and people management skills.
  • A history of exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Being comfortable presenting complex ideas to large and small audiences on behalf of the company.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of organization and output.
  • Influencing the future of CAD in the entertainment industry alongside cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Prior experience with Vectorworks ConnectCAD, Braceworks, Spotlight, and Vision is not required. Extensive training will be provided.

 

To thrive in this role, you have completed bachelor’s degree in Theatre Design, Set Design, Lighting Design or you have equivalent experience in a related field.
