The Marketing Intern participates in the full lifecycle of marketing projects, including planning, creation, implementation and evaluation, which will expose him/her to the inner workings of a marketing and creative department.


You'll make an impact by:

  • Collaborating with designers, product marketing, sales, and external stakeholders to produce relevant content and translate ideas and concepts into compelling brand stories that meet the needs of both key stakeholders and our target audiences
  • Working as part of team to develop, draft, and edit existing and new marketing campaigns and/or content for digital or social distribution
  • Marketing active programs including email promotions, social media campaigns, etc.
  • Creating reports to analyze the successes and failures of marketing campaigns
  • Conducting market research to improve existing programs or assess the viability of new campaigns


About you:

  • A background in marketing or related fields, and a strong interest in pursuing a career in marketing, sales, or business administration
  • A GPA above 3.0
  • Interest in building our student user population by contributing to the creation an execution of marketing programs focused on engaging university students
  • Interest in learning how a global channel operates to build marketing programs that can be deployed across international markets and industries

Skills required: 

  • Excellent research, writing and organization skills
  • High motivation and the ability to work easily in both large team environments and independently
  • Familiarity with digital media, social networks, online forums and blogging
  • Ability to influence initiatives that meet brand objectives along with increasing web traffic, boosting sales, producing a return on investment, or demonstrating measurable consumer awareness
  • Ability to analyze, measure and report on program engagement metrics
  • Experience with HubSpot, Marketo, Constant Contact, MailChimp or similar marketing automation platform is helpful
  • Hands-on experience with marketing-related assignments and interactions
  • Prior internship experience at a public relations or marketing firm or corporate communications or marketing department is preferred
  • Ability to build reputation or influence across online communities through thought leadership

Extra credit:

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, AdWords, SEO strategy, social media marketing, etc. a plus 

2023 Internship session:

  • Spring: Jan 18 - May 12
  • Summer: June 5- Aug. 25
  • Fall: Sept. 11 – Dec. 15

The ultimate goal of our internship program is to provide students with a learning and training experience that will allow them the opportunity to apply the skills learned in the classroom in a professional work environment.  Although, we would like to offer interns the opportunity to join our workforce on a full-time basis, an offer for a full-time position after an internship is not guaranteed.


Eligibility requirements for internships:

  • Spring & Fall internships require 16-20 hours of work per week. Summer is 40 hours per week
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program in your Sophomore, Junior or Senior year
  • This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant's qualifications. We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement. Remote, hybrid and in-office opportunities are available
  • Interns are not eligible for company benefits
