The Marketing Specialist will evaluate, schedule, and analyze all industry specific marketing programs and support both domestic as well as international channel sales teams with qualified leads. This individual works with content marketing, design, web, PR, sales, and product marketing teams.


You’ll make an impact by:  

  • Increasing awareness and engagement with our brand and products by implementing targeted digital campaigns, and acting as project manager on a variety of simultaneous marketing programs to ensure lead generation and the production of quality, branded deliverables
  • Becoming an expert in your industry and stay current with industry trends by immersing yourself into industry events and publications; understand the wants and needs of our users, prospects, and sales team
  • Assisting in development of scalable, in-demand content that is timely and relevant to generate leads for both domestic and channel sales teams, i.e. nurturing campaigns
  • Monitoring and reporting on marketing campaign KPIs on a regular basis, while also providing recommendations for optimizing these programs; master our marketing automation software to best analyze our customer’s journey and the related nurturing campaigns
  • Collaborating with marketing events specialist to develop tradeshow and live event strategy and related marketing to ensure events are on brand, on message, and generate ROI
  • Initiating and maintaining relationships with industry influencers (including beta testers and Vectorworks power users); become a knowledgeable asset and working partner for the product marketing team
  • Supporting PR initiatives and other campaigns as assigned


About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the software industry or design-related field
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce or similar marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Experience preparing tradeshow and corporate event strategy
  • Experience with project management
  • Exceptional writing skills and confidence in developing marketing content (i.e. email marketing, direct mail, website content, advertising, etc.)
  • Self-motivated and actively seeks additional projects
  • Excels in working as part of a team and contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Working knowledge of HTML a plus, but not required
  • Google Analytics and Google AdWords Certification preferred
  • HubSpot Inbound Certification preferred
  • Attend industry events (up to 10% travel possible)
