You enjoy building key customer relationships, negotiating and closing business deals, and maintaining knowledge of current markets conditions in assigned territories.

 

The Account Associate-Global is a sales professional responsible for growing our customer base through an understanding of the industries we serve; architecture, landscape, and entertainment design, by presenting our line of Vectorworks products to existing and prospective customers.

Responsibilities

 

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Acquiring a deep understanding of Vectorworks and being able to present our company and product stories to prospects and customers
  • Conducting routine sales calls and email outreach following established procedures and guidelines
  • Identifying potential clients and decision makers within the organization and educating them on value of our CAD/BIM software
  • Increasing awareness and sales of our products
  • Conducting outreach to leads generated by the marketing department and other sources
  • Managing leads and scheduling qualified product demonstrations for senior sales executives or industry specialists in order to reach performance-based goals
  • Executing a minimum of 50 outbound calls/activities per day.
  • Supporting academic initiatives by identifying colleges/universities who are willing to partner with Vectorworks and provide our software in their labs
  • Attending industry functions such as trade shows, meetings, and conferences. (Up to 10% travel may be required)
  • Using companywide CRM system to track sales opportunities and reporting weekly on activities and accomplishments
  • Conducting market, competitive, and industry research and analysis

Qualifications

About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • At least 3 years experience in direct sales or business development
  • Global experience preferred: ability to interact effectively with people from different cultures, and enjoy building sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Thorough knowledge of sales principles, negotiating tactics, and international business etiquette
  • Solid understanding of business concepts and ability to quickly learn software & technology tools
  • High motivation and the ability to work easily in both large team environments and independently
  • Confidence presenting information over the phone, online, and/or in person to business decision makers
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Working experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, HubSpot or other database application
