You are a hard-working and dedicated college junior, senior, or recent graduate who is looking to gain valuable work experience in the field of advertising and copywriting. You are a self-starter and highly motivated to succeed under minimal supervision.

Vectorworks, Inc. is looking for a versatile, hard-working, and talented intern who can craft compelling copy that attracts attention and supports our brand. Our intern will learn about creative copywriting, receive hands-on mentoring, and write copy for both traditional and digital advertising, and other short-form marketing deliverables.

If you like to geek out about grammar and have friends who always send you their papers to review before turning them in, then we want you!

You'll make an impact by:

• Creating original and compelling copy for campaigns and experiences across multiple mediums
• Writing, editing, and proofreading copy having expertise in compelling shorter form copy for advertising, organized and informative writing for websites, video scripting, etc.
• Generating creative ideas in tandem with in-house designers and media producers that align with brand strategies
• Ensuring branding standards are consistent and maintained across writing assignments
• Working collaboratively on a global team, manages communication requests, coordinates schedules, and meets tight deadlines

About you: 

• A GPA above 3.0
• A desire to tell stories while communicating effectively using various tones
• Previous experience in content creation and editing that aligns with AP Style
• Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure content aligns with our style guide
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• An ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve goals
   

Eligibility requirements for internships:

• Summer internships are 40 hours per week
• You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program entering your junior or senior year, enrolled in a graduate program, or a recent graduate (no more than 6 months - 1 year upon graduation)
• This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant's qualifications. We currently have virtual internship opportunities available
• Interns are not eligible for company benefits
