You enjoy working cross functionally with different teams, such as marketing, systems development, sales operations, and sales teams to evolve marketing and selling capabilities.

 

The Process and Analytics Manager will act as a project manager on the sales team developing processes, documenting needs, and getting technical projects involving multiple teams to the finish line.

 

The process and analytics manager will lead a team of domain professionals (system owners, project managers and analysts) in impacting how we use technology to capture data and advance new solutions as our business models evolve.

 

Responsibilities

You’ll make an impact by:

 

Empowering the process and analytics team to work together to solve the data and system challenges we have on our Sales and Marketing teams. You will play a significant role in research, needs assessment, strategic development, and execution of data-centric projects. The Process and Analytics Manager will act as a project manager and/or advisor on new improvements to our systems, establishing team level KPIs, and developing processes and polices to guide the team’s work as follows:

  • Managing our HubSpot and Salesforce system administrators, helping them uncover needs, documenting project plans, gaining buy-in from stakeholders, setting priorities and seeing projects to the finish line
  • Supervising our Sales and Marketing data analysts, helping them establish KPIs, determining reporting cadence, and auditing and interrogating findings to help deliver insights to our sales and marketing teams for better decision making.
  • Managing our projects team to ensure proper needs assessments are conducted, project plans are developed, scope is limited, and seamless delivery is achieved for all new and existing projects.
  • Creating scalable processes, procedures, and customizing reports to monitor the health of our systems and to identify areas of improvements that ensure best practices in lead nurturing, sales operations, database management and reporting.
  • Evolving our technology stack by optimizing current technologies and by researching, building a business case for, and implementing new technologies. Advocating for solutions to ensure our systems can meet evolving business needs.
  • Creating a long-term architecture for interdepartmental integration and cooperation to power our systems for their future growth.
  • Supporting users across multiple functional groups within Vectorworks. This includes managing and influencing changes to the architecture, implementing new business systems, creating onboarding materials to support new users, and training for new functionality.

Qualifications

About you:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years of work experience in a sales team environment
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce OR a similar CRM tool
  • 5+ years of experience with HubSpot OR a similar Marketing Automation tool
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with sales/marketing teams to gather stakeholder requirements and understand the business needs of those teams
  • Proficiency with Excel macros, VBA, and creating advanced formulas (Vlookup, index, concatenate, pivot tables, etc.)
  • High motivation and the ability to work easily in both large team environments and independently
  • Experience using data to analyze and solve problems
  • Process minded, able to generate refined output from general concepts
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SAP, and other database applications
  • Ability to interact effectively with people from different cultures and able to build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Interested in leading a team of technical resources to enable our sales and marketing teams to gain better insights and make better decisions
  • Seeking a challenging analytical position where you are responsible for the documentation and prioritization of technical projects to ensure we meet our company objectives.

Extra credit:

 

  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau
  • Experience as a system administrator for a CRM or Marketing Automation tool
  • Experience working with a global company and implementing projects across boarders
  • Basic proficiency or working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Basic proficiency or working knowledge of relational databases and using query tools such as MySQL
  • Proficiency using Google Analytics suite/Google Analytics Certification
  • Basic proficiency or working knowledge of web development (JavaScript, PHP)
