You are a hard-working and dedicated college junior, senior, or recent graduate (no more than 6 months upon graduation) in human resources, management, or a related field. You are creative, innovative, and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and independently, with the ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Vectorworks, Inc. is looking for a talented, motivated individual to assist our Talent Acquisition team in the full-cycle recruitment process. This person will have the opportunity to gain valuable networking and analytical skills needed to build relationships and ensure a positive candidate experience.

You'll make an impact by:

 

  • Assisting the Talent Acquisition team in all phases of the recruitment process, including posting advertisements, screening resumes, conducting applicant telephone screenings, scheduling interviews, and pre-employment screening
  • Coordinating initial screenings, technical phone interviews, and follow up onsite/virtual interviews.
  • Assisting in collecting feedback from hiring managers after interviews and follow up with active candidates to ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Researching alternative ways to recruit talent as well as attend job fairs and networking events
  • Conducting resume database searches and make cold calls
  • Maintaining employee confidence and protect operations integrity by keeping human resource communication private
  • Assisting in supporting the expansion of the internship program
  • Assisting in expanding the onboarding program
  • Completing research projects on HR related topics as assigned

Qualifications

About you:

 

  • A GPA above 3.0
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Problem-solving and strong interpersonal communication skills
  • An ability to convey compelling messages, both in person and in writing
  • Love for planning & organizing, and excellent attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic to show initiative, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Prior work experience in a human resources and/or staffing environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve the HR departmental goals

 

Eligibility requirements for internships:

 

  • Internships requires working a minimum of 16 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program entering your junior or senior year, enrolled in a graduate program, or a recent graduate (no more than 6 months upon graduation)
  • This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant’s qualifications. We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement. Virtual internship opportunities are available. 
  • Interns are not eligible for company benefits
