You enjoy collaborating alongside other marketers and have a passion for conducting extensive market research and outreach campaigns to engage your audience.

 

When you join Vectorworks, Inc., you will serve as an ambassador of Vectorworks to colleges and universities in direct markets - United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia - to promote our software within Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Entertainment/Lighting design programs. Supporting our marketing team, you’ll work with an innovative global team to impact and engage the academic community and increase Vectorworks software adoption by students and schools.

Responsibilities

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Manage and optimize outbound marketing campaigns and programs to generate expansion, awareness, and retention of Vectorworks products at colleges and universities
  • Manage scholarship campaign involving global channel partner participation
  • Conduct external and internal research to identify educational institutions to target for expansion
  • Conduct outreach via email and outbound call campaigns to drive education engagements and partnerships
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop academic oriented training, workshops, and other engagement opportunities to present software to schools
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships with professors and organizations within the Architecture, Landscape and Entertainment/Theatre academic programs
  • Help drive content such as newsletters, case studies, and blog articles to further promote Vectorworks’ academic efforts and results
  • Track measurable KPIs to demonstrate results of academic outreach efforts. Work closely with Analytics team and utilize our CRM platform to develop dashboards and report on academic results to the broader company
  • Attend industry events and conferences and be comfortable presenting Vectorworks academic offerings in both small and large settings, as needed

Qualifications

About you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or non-profit industry
  • Energetic and excited to promote Vectorworks products and our brand
  • Big-picture thinker – help with strategy development and execution for direct markets
  • Experienced in conducting email and call campaigns
  • Have a natural ability to network and build relationships within the academic community
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone and perform a structured call campaign if needed
  • Have a love for learning, teaching, and technology
  • Willing to learn to demo basic Vectorworks software functionality
  • Have the ability to travel up to 10% of the time to universities and academic events (once travel restrictions are lifted per official health regulations)
