In this role, you should expect to:

  • Provide CAD help desk support to end users on a variety of issues
  • Identify, research and resolve end users’ software technical problems
  • Respond to telephone calls, e-mail and other requests for technical support
  • Deliver online training to end users and offices
  • Assist in the creation of content for different marketing materials, illustrations, videos, etc.

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • An Associate’s Degree, preferably in the Computer Sciences, or equivalent technical training and/or work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a technical help desk environment
  • Experience with CAD software is required
  • Experience with any graphic software applications is preferred
  • Experience installing and configuring computer hardware and software
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operation systems
  • Familiarity with support databases and troubleshooting techniques
  • The ability to deliver effective training and software demonstrations
  • Travel to national trade shows and meetings. (Up to 10% travel may be required once travel restrictions are lifted per official health regulations.)

Extra Credit:

  • Industry related experience (architectural, landscape, or entertainment design industries)

  • Experience with design software such as: Adobe Creative Suite/ InDesign/ Illustrator
  • Experience working with Vectorworks software
  • Exposure to two or more CAD software products such as Sketchup, Rhino3D, AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, Bluebeam, MicroStation, or ArcGIS
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
