Reporting to the Process and Analytics Manager, the Business Performance Analyst (Google Analytics & HubSpot) is responsible for reporting and analysis related to lead generation, marketing funnel optimization, sales follow-through, sales promotion performance and testing initiatives. Using tactics such as search engine optimization, landing page conversion testing, online advertising, and email marketing, the business performance analyst will participate in growing our lead database helping to contribute to overall company revenue growth.

Responsibilities

 

In this role, you should expect to:

 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Drive key business metric of lead generation
  • Participate in setting sales and marketing team strategy through analysis of historical data and establishing testing scenarios
  • Forecast, and analyze data for sales and marketing activities and present to senior management regularly for analysis of successes, failures, and identification of opportunities

Lead Conversion Responsibilities:

  • Manage and increase efficiencies of the buyer journey from lead through the nurturing phases and the completion of sale
  • Create strategy and optimize key conversion points and paths across channels and marketing type, including SEO, email, blog, social media, events, landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms
  • A/B test when possible, and continually measure the performance of these conversion assets
  • Manage, build, analyze and test various tactics and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, timing and content used
  • Maintain a heat index by continuously evaluating criteria to ensure quality and readiness of SQL

Analysis Responsibilities:

  • Track, analyze and report all Marketing activities across channel
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how prospects’ interactions with marketing activity turns into leads, and continually refine our process to convert customers

Qualifications

  • An expert in end-to-end inbound marketing, including HubSpot’s smart content, smart lists, and other lifecycle stage optimization tactics. As owner of the marketing funnel, you must know what makes it generate customers
  • Someone who thrives in a team environment and has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A problem solver with outstanding analytical skills and who can extract meaning from data and use this to optimize a team’s approach and a company’s forecast

Why do we want you? Because you have:

  • BA/BS in Marketing Analytics or equivalent working experience
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience as a marketing analyst, paid marketing analyst, digital marketing analyst or equivalent position required
  • A minimum of 2 years professional experience using HubSpot and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with Tableau and SQL is preferred
