Vectorworks, Inc. is adding an Account Associate to our Architect product direct sales team, selling CAD/architecture design software. Under the direction of the team manager, you will be tasked with developing and managing relationships with existing and potential customers for one of the world's top Computer-aided Design (CAD) software platforms! In this role you will collaborate daily with members of the architecture design community.

Responsibilities

In this role, you should expect to:

 

  • Prospect companies to identify new business opportunities and support the organization’s revenue goals
  • Identify potential clients and decision makers within the organization
  • Work with management and other departments to develop our “story”, plan approaches and tailor pitches
  • Make routine telephone sales calls following established procedures and guidelines
  • Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives
  • Conduct outreach to leads generated by the marketing department
  • Educate potential clients on the value of our CAD/BIM software
  • Manage leads and schedule qualified product demonstrations and/or face-to-face meetings for senior sales executives or industry specialists in order to reach performance-based goals
  • Help drive attendance to regional events and trainings by reaching out to current customers that are in a given region
  • Execute a minimum of 75 outbound calls per day
  • Travel to national trade shows and meetings. (Up to 50% travel may be required once travel restrictions are lifted per official health regulations.)

  • Experience in architecture/design and design software is a plus!
