Calling all energetic, detail-oriented students: Vectorworks, Inc. seeks an Events Intern to join our team for an engaging internship opportunity this summer. The intern will work alongside the Sr. Events Manager in event preparation and coordination. You'll have the opportunity to assist in planning the company's special events, including the weekly luncheons, reception dinners, holiday events, and more! In this role, you should expect to:


  • Assist in preparing and coordinating all logistical aspects of company sponsored events
  • Assist in communications involving event management including BEOs, timelines, calendars, reports, diagrams, etc.
  • Request estimates, reach out to vendors, and interact with all departments within the company
  • Provide support in all employee, candidate, and guest travel including lodging and ground transportation when applicable
  • Assist with employee discount program
  • Assist in establishing and developing relationships with vendors

  • Superior planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple personalities and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to use discretion, judgment, tact and poise regarding confidential and sensitive information privy to the HR department team members
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus!
  • Requires approximately 10% travel


Eligibility requirements for internships:


  • Internships requires working a minimum of 16 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, enrolled in an undergraduate program entering your junior or senior year, enrolled in a graduate program, or a recent graduate (no more than 6 months upon graduation)
  • This is a paid internship and compensation will be based on applicant's qualifications. We currently do not provide housing, relocation, or transportation reimbursement
  • Interns are not eligible for company benefits


2020 Internship sessions:

  • Summer: June 1 - Aug. 21
  • Fall: Sept 7 - Dec 11
