    Vectorworks, Inc. is looking for a talented and motivated Payroll Coordinator to be responsible for processing payroll transactions in our company, including processing timesheets and updating payroll records, while providing great customer service to our internal and external customers. The primary responsibility in this position is to ensure all employees are compensated correctly and timely.

    In this role, you should expect to:


    • Prepare bi-weekly payroll and submit for multi-state employees
    • Assist Accounting Manager with registering for payroll and filing for payroll and unemployment taxes in newly assigned states.
    • Assist with 401K administration & employee benefits
    • Continuously conduct payroll analyses to ensure accuracy
    • Post g/l entries to capture bi-weekly payroll and expense reimbursement activity
    • Be a resource to educate employees when submitting time & attendance within timekeeper system
    • Provide administration and handling of wage garnishments/assignments
    • Provide various reports as needed by management and accounting department
    • Assist with special projects
    • Other duties as assigned

    Why do we want you? Because you have:

    • An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field coursework. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience processing multi-state payroll
    • Knowledge of the applicable compliance requirements and related regulations in multiple states, exempt vs non-exempt, etc.
    • Understanding of multi-state payroll taxes
    • Strong skills in Excel and have working knowledge of pivot tables
    • Working knowledge of Paycom or ADP or similar payroll systems
