    As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for recording and processing the day to day activities of Vectorworks’ accounts payable functions. You’ll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other teams and outside vendors as you gain more knowledge in the practices of a corporate accounting team.

    In this role, you should expect to:

    • Record, code, and sort all vendor invoices
    • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
    • Print and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checks
    • Prepare weekly check run, ACH or wire payment
    • Perform Monthly Account Reconciliations
    • Maintain all accounts payable and related spreadsheets
    • Summarize and prepare credit card statement expenses
    • Assist with employee reimbursements
    • Answer vendor inquiries
    • Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
    • Assist with monthly closings
    • Help prepare annual 1099’s, W-8’s etc.
    • Post monthly accruals and transaction journal entries
    • Cross-train in accounts receivables
    • Perform other duties as required to support the accounting department

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred
    • 2 years of related work experience
    • Working knowledge of SAP Business One, Concur, PayPal and/or Stripe, or other CRM/ERP accounting systems, etc.
    • Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets is desirable
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining consistency and accuracy
    • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information and demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills
