This individual will have the exciting opportunity to interview industry experts and collaborate with team members to craft intelligent, thoughtful messaging and digital content to support the marketing and sales of our global design software across multiple platforms.

    Responsibilities

     

    In this role, you should expect to:

     

    • Research, outline (if necessary) and write compelling copy for communications materials including, but not limited to: emails, web content, event-related promotional materials, launch materials, video headlines/text/captions, agendas/bios/flyers, blogs, various newsletters, etc.  
    • Provide editing services to internal clients and support international distributor efforts
    • Implement departmental procedures, styles, standards, and best practices
    • Collaborate with creative teams to collectively create/design copy that conforms to the style guidelines and aligns with brand strategies
    • Collaborate with social media and public relations efforts for consistency of message and scheduling of message delivery on multiple platforms
    • Submit work for group review/approval, coordinate and implement edits, manage versioning, track status of work in progress, coordinate task handoff from iMeet to Trello (as applicable)
    • Prepare copy for release/publication (including hyperlinks, GA tagging, boilerplate text)
    • Track and report multiple task statuses and internal/external delivery dates, process CRs, contribute to team status report and various reports for executive needs on an ongoing basis

    Why do we want you? Because you have:

     

    • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or a related field
    • 0-2 years of experience in professional media, communications, marketing, and/or public relations
    • A demonstrated knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words and proper use of grammar and punctuation
    • Basic knowledge of web writing tactics and SEO, social media platforms and branding using those platforms
    • A desire to tell stories while communicating effectively using various tones
    • Previous experience in content creation and editing that aligns with AP Style
    • Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities
    • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure content aligns with our style guide
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

     

     

    Extra credit:

     

    • Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, ProofHQ, iMeet Central, Slack, Jira, or similar programs
    • Knowledge of Google analytics or similar programs
