    What's in it for you?

     

    We are searching for a results-driven sales team manager.

     

    The sales team manager will be instrumental in increasing the market across Canada and will work closely with the Canada Director to plan sales and marketing efforts.

     

    The sales manager will work closely with our most valued customers and will lead software sales efforts: attending events, talking to prospects, teeing up demonstrations with prospects. The sales manager will be assisted by an inside software sales team and by product specialists, who can provide product expertise for software sales demonstrations, as well as training and workflow consulting to customers.

     

    This position is based in Vancouver, and travel across Canada will be required up to 20% of the time.

    Responsibilities

    In this role, you should expect to:

     

    • Drive software sales performance by fostering existing client relationships and building new relationships.
    • Assist representatives in software demonstrations and presentations to potential and existing customers including: client site visits, user group meetings, trade shows and other events
    • Assist with the interviewing and hiring process of team members
    • Lead, motivate and develop an inside software sales team and regional account managers by mentorship and personal example to create and promote a productive work atmosphere
    • Provide design, business knowledge and experience to help the sales team close sales opportunities
    • Achieve objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance
    • Maintain an advanced technical understanding of the company’s offerings and competitor software
    • Manage internal processes to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service to clients
    • Act as a strong presence to lead the sales team by example to maximize software sales through leadership and attention to standards
    • Travel when needed (up to 20%)
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience demonstrating excellent performance. Software sales experience is preferred
    • 6+ months of mentoring others/leadership experience preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of marketing strategies and able to execute effective marketing plans
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and maintain confidence of peers
    • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with a broad range of design firms

    Notes:

    • This position will commence as a remote, work from home arrangement. Additional terms with respect the remote working arrangement will be discussed during the interview process and formalized in a written employment agreement
