     What's in it for you?


    We are searching for a Regional Account Manager to expand our footprint into new areas of the Canadian market.


    This person will be responsible for creating and driving new business within the Toronto and the GTA region through prospecting and networking, as well as developing a strategic territory plan, executing against it through effective pipeline management and meeting/exceeding sales goals.




    In this role, you should expect to:

    • Identify, obtain information, and qualify prospects that are candidates for company-offered technologies to consistently and profitably grow sales each year
    • Manage accounts by calling on customers, particularly major accounts
    • Develop and support customer specifications through project management practices
    • Foster/enhance customer relationships as well as focus on further market penetration
    • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and other projections as required
    • Keep senior management informed of economic, competitive, and other factors affecting the region with recommendations for improvements/changes
    • Participate and assist in national and local events/tradeshows
    • Travel 80% of the time by car/plane/train as needed
    • Perform other related duties and responsibilities consistent with the position as required

    • A Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent amount of sales (software sales preferred) experience

    • Minimum of 5+ years of software sales experience

    • Demonstrated experience with or understanding of architectural design process required
    • The ability to sell specification and/or technical type products, along with a track record with sales assignments
    • Technical sales (software sales) support experience which may include: collaborating with other teams and industries specialists to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions
    • Previous experience developing business relationships with customers
    • The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • The ability to lead and manage projects
    • The ability to communicate (verbal and written communication), and collaborate with team members, other departments, and customers
    • Proficiency in learning, using, and demonstrating Vectorworks or other CAD/BIM software

     Extra credit:

    • Experience calling on designers, architects, engineers, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience with Vectorworks software
    • Experience with other CAD/BIM software
    • Fluency in any of the following languages:  French is a plus



    • This position will commence as a remote, work from home arrangement. Additional terms with respect the remote working arrangement will be discussed during the interview process and formalized in a written employment agreement
