Vectorworks, Inc. is looking for an individual to join our expanding sales and channel operations team who can help define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key channel relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions throughout South America.


The South American Channel Manager reports to the Director of Channel Operations and is a highly consultative sales professional responsible for growing our customer base through the acquisition of new channel partners and growing existing channel partners throughout South America.

In this role, you should expect to:

  • Develop and execute strategies for increasing Vectorworks’ international sales through the acquisition of new channel partners and growing existing channel partners throughout South America
  • Acquire a deep understanding of Vectorworks and be able to present our company and product stories to prospective partners
  • Conduct extensive research regarding the market and guide our strategy accordingly
  • Work closely with support, operations and implementation staff to provide new channel partners with a successful onboarding experience
  • Work closely with marketing and product marketing to provide feedback on market needs in order to develop the tools needed to acquire new channel partners and make them successful
  • Use companywide CRM system to track sales opportunities and report weekly on activities and accomplishments
  • Monitor channel, market and competitor activities and provide recommendations to help Vectorworks increase sales
  • Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships
  • Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing consistency to the overarching Vectorworks’ business model and be flexible enough to adjust and react to changing market or country needs
  • Prepare and deliver frequent sales reports and forecasts
  • Become a student of the culture, remaining aware of customs and manners always
  • Contribute to the overall global success of our company
  • Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners when appropriate (up to 25%)
